The Role; Relationship Officers/ Sales Officers

for credit card and personal loans

 

·      Identify potential customers through databases, cold calling, follow up leads and telephone/personal contacts etc. (Ready to do sales from the open market and business from a new customer without data base shared from the company side)

·      To sell Credit Cards/personal loans to the specified target customers/segments and meet monthly sales targets. 

·      To contact potential customers and convince them about the bank’s product offerings. 
Major accountability for a Sales Officer is to ensure that business is solicited as per the UAE guidelines/process. 

·      To ensure that prospects are clearly communicated about the bank charges/terms and conditions. 

·      To ensure that all the documents provided by the customer for completion the card applications are duly checked and forwarded to the relevant Sales Manager. 

·      Ensure full awareness of all policies and procedures issued in relation to UAE principles. 

·      Ensure full awareness of all policies related to operational risk and mis-selling, etc. & comply by the same. 

·      Maintain complete and detailed knowledge of all assigned products. 

 

Requirements

·      Minimum of 1 year’s sales experience in the banking / financial services industry, specifically related to personal loans/ Credit Card Selling. (UAE)

·      Demonstrable track record of working within a highly target driven environment with the ability to plan / manage their own work schedule.

·      Non-banking sales will be considered (tele caller who worked for an insurance company and telecom, especially with postpaid products).

·      Good selling, negotiation and convincing skills

·      Good command on English language

·      Ready to go out in the open market and do sales on a field visit.

·      Knowledge and understanding of general banking procedures.

·      Proven ability to build / sustain relationships with customers.
