Presales Engineer- Job Description
Key Responsibilities: -
*Solution Design: Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design customized IT and cybersecurity solutions that address their specific needs.
*Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest IT and cybersecurity technologies and trends, and provide expert advice to customers regarding product features, capabilities, and best practices.
*Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing how the company's solutions can effectively address their security and IT challenges.
*Technical Assessments: Assess the technical environment and security posture of potential customers to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, then recommend appropriate solutions.
*Proposal Development: Create and deliver detailed technical proposals and documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, pricing, and statements of work, to assist the sales team in closing deals.
*Proof of Concept (PoC): Assist in the development and execution of PoCs to demonstrate the effectiveness of the company's products and solutions in the customer's environment.
*Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about competitors' offerings and provide insights into how the company's products compare and excel in the marketplace. *Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, working closely with them to understand their evolving needs and challenges.
*Technical Training: Train sales teams and customers on the company's products and solutions, helping them to understand the technical aspects and value propositions.
*Technical Support: Provide pre-sales technical support to address customer inquiries and concerns, including responding to technical questions and resolving issues.
*Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including product guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to assist customers and colleagues.
*Sales Enablement: Develop and update sales tools and collateral, such as data sheets, case studies, and presentations, to support the sales team in their efforts. Skills and qualifications: -
*Proficiency in written and spoken English. Fluency in Arabic is a plus. *Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, information technology, computer science. (Relevant work experience may be considered instead)
*Analytical and research skills and the ability to learn new concepts and technologies. You must be able to read and understand technical documentation. *Ability to manage sysadmin-type tasks in Windows, Linux and Mac environments. You must be familiar with terms like AD, CA, CBA, DR, ESXi, FIDO, HA, IIS, LB, MFA, NPS, OATH, OAUTH, OWA, PAM, PKCS, PKI, SAML, SSO, TMA.
*Experience in enterprise software or IT solutions
*Prior pre-sales experience in a IT/cyber security industry (2 years minimum) *Strong written and verbal communication, especially around training and knowledge-transfer *Eager to learn with the ability to develop technical product knowledge and understand the competitive landscape.
*Willingness and ability to adapt to changing strategies or market conditions
